Whole30: Day 2

The Food:

Breakfast: Sauteed onion, bell pepper, and spinach with a fried egg.
Why only one fried egg when I had 3 eggs on Tuesday? Well, I forgot to go pick up our eggs at the drop location. I was, however, able to pick them up later in the day.

Lunch: Leftover pot roast meat, frozen veggie mix, and half an apple.
We found some pot roast in the freezer and decided to have that for lunch so that we would be back on track for our leftovers. I'm not a fan of pot roast so didn't eat as much of it as I should have.

Supper: 1/4 hamburger, 4oz of mushrooms and 1/2 onion carmelized, and a salad.
It's a little hard to tell but there is a burger hiding under all the mushrooms and onions. This is another great meal. I could definitely eat this fairly often. The only thing that could make it better is a little bit of mayo on my burger. Delicious.

Thoughts:
I felt about the same as I did on Day 1. Fairly energetic but definitely still sporting the sugar headache. I did not eat enough food at breakfast or lunch so I got quite hungry in between meals but supper was a good amount. I just need more than one egg for breakfast. Otherwise, my sugar cravings weren't too bad. I had about twenty minutes where I was seriously craving a can of Coke. But a lot of that had to do with my frustration level combined with my hunger. Because I almost never drink coke. So it wasn't a real craving. All in all, a pretty good day.

Random:
Yesterday was spent at home working on things. During the day I made two stops at the library and one stop to pick up eggs (4dozen!). And then in the evening Justin and I made a run to the Main library to pick up some movies. It's our new middle of the week night outing and we both get as many as we're allowed. We head home with a giant stack of movies to choose from for the rest of the week and weekend. I'm loving it!

And now I leave you with a photo from last night: Justin looking very serious while he preforms the delicate operation of gluing my pinky closed!
