Whole30: Day 16

Food:
Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs with salsa
This is a favourite breakfast. I could eat this every single day.

Lunch: Leftover fish tacos, fruit
This did pretty well. I ate mine on a salad instead of in a lettuce wrap and it was good. I just used our fish taco sauce as salad dressing. That stuff definitely is kind of spicy. But I like it.

Supper: California Pot Roast (from The Grassfed Gourmet), steamed cauliflower, salad, fruit
This was a really good meal. I made a few tweaks since it wasn't exactly paleo but I liked it. And the meat turned out great. We used a chuck roast and it was really good. I would definitely do this one again.

Thoughts:
Another normal day for me over here. I had a headache in the morning while I was working on things on my computer but it went away around lunch and I felt fine the rest of the day. I felt energetic all day and got a lot done. We're still just chugging away on things and looking forward to finishing this up soon.

Random:
I got water kefir grains from a gal down the street! I'm excited to start experimenting with it. There are so many ways of flavoring it. I'm thinking I may start with a juice concentrate. But for now I'm just working on dechlorinating my water before I can start. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Otherwise my day was pretty uneventful. I talked to Terry down at Yum-Mees and he told me he's moving to Hawaii sometime next year. The bakery is going to still be here but he'll be gone. It's very sad. He makes the most ah-mazing cupcakes. We're both madly in love with them. I don't know if they'll be as good if someone else makes them instead of Terry. It was sad news.
